Review by hotel critic
During my recent visit to Colmar, I had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel nestled near the historical old town, known for its enchanting canals reminiscent of Petite Venise. The blend of traditional charm and modern convenience was evident, from the hotel's unique roof adorned with colorful tiles to the welcoming ambiance created by candle-style sconces in the lobby. My small double room offered comfort and practicality, complete with tea-making facilities, which I found delightful after a day of exploring. The hotel's location was ideal; within a short stroll, I reached remarkable attractions such as the House Pfister and the exquisite sculptures within the Dominican Church. Culinary options were abundant, with delightful bakeries nearby, and the breakfast buffet provided a satisfying range of choices. It was a pleasant, comfortable stay that served as a great base for my explorations.
